· To debunk the deep-rooted misconception that psychological processes are non-physical entities, as implied by the root word psych.

· To disseminate information about the physics, chemistry, and biological underpinnings of all, and not just some, aspects of psychology.

· To place natural science at the centre of theory and practice in psychology

· For reasons explained in the inaugural article published on this website: To campaign for the discontinuation of the use of names such as “psychology”, “psych”, “mental”, “mind-body”, “mental vs. physical” and other dualistic terms. Even the name “Molecular Psychology” itself will have to be eventually discarded.

· To campaign for the relocation of psychology departments from the faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities, to the Natural Sciences.

· To expand the role of “psychology” beyond the sphere of psychiatry into other medical disciplines.

· To start a scientific journal based on these objectives.
